I'm guessing he has some sort of copper poisoning too, based on his skin tone. But that's for another post...
Based on photographic evidence, The Grinch had acute liver failure. Poor guy, with his sociopathic tendencies, he’ll never get on the transplant list.

    Yes, in the cartoon he was full green, not yellow green. Good call.
